The speed of our times has made as come to a point where we probably experience works of art everyday. We watch emit judgment, dismiss, and pass to the next thing as if disposing trash, not aware that every single one of this works has taken so much time and effort. (even "bad" art takes time and effort)

The velocity in the delivery of information has increased, but the methods of producing art: painting or drawing a picture, writing a book or a musical piece are probably the same as they were always. There are no shortcuts for them.

excellent! the composition and technique are great! At first I thought they were robots (a bit like Futurama), not trash cans but it would fit your theme either way!

They are both things... Robot trash cans! It has to do with the series this piece belongs to. There are some other pieces in this gallery. Retro robots representing different aspects of the human nature and its achievements. A philosophic consideration.

Glad you liked it. Thanks for the comment.

Very true! Traditional gallery settings encourage people to ponder over pieces, yet on the internet people can scroll or click through works within seconds (as I'm doing now hahah), and judge them in that time. Your illustration captures this phenomenon perfectly, and with great humor! :)

Of course... we all do. So it is really valuable when someone stops a moment and gives and insightful critic on a piece of art.

Thanks for the comment!
